In the summertime there is an abundance of hiking , biking, golfing, and of course water sports on and around the 72 miles of beaches on Lake Tahoe. You’ll find some of the best scenery in the world here, and have a multitude of ways to see it.

The mountains come alive with skiing in the wintertime. North Lake Tahoe is know for its World Class Ski Resorts. To name a few, Squaw Valley, (home to the 1960 Winter Olympics), Alpine Meadows, Northstar at Tahoe and 9 other family resorts within 15 minutes to each other. If you skied a different run every day, it would take over 3 months to ski the same run twice. If variety is your choice, you won’t be disappointed with all the snow parks that boast wilderness snowmobiling, groomed trails for cross country skiing, full moon snow shoeing, and other creative activities that won’t give you time to be bored.
